Job Specification - International Sales Manager

Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen to join Henleys (a brand that is defying the current economic climate) as an International Sales Manager.  This is a cross functional role and the individual will be expected to work closely with Operations, Marketing, Design, Demand Management and Customer Services Colleagues


Main Responsibilities


  • Developing existing business as well as discovering and researching opportunities in new markets.
  • Identifying year one priorities (customers and products), routes to market (distributors and countries) and relevant support agencies before implementation
  • Preparing the cost benefit analysis
  • Demonstrating a clear ability to manage multiple sales projects
  • Manage Client relationships
  • Day to day operational management
  • Advising on ways to improve sales performance
  • Monitoring sales across Europe, America and Australia
  • Increasing performance margins against competitors
  • Understand and embed key business processes; sales forecasting, budgeting, weekly and monthly sales reporting etc.
  • Having excellent organisational skills and working to extremely tight deadlines


Requirements/Expected qualifications

You will have:


  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • The ability to arrange and deliver presentations.
  • Experience of working under pressure in a very fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills and possess competent IT skills.
  • You will also be able to work against tight deadlines. 
  • The candidate should be highly in tune with the Henleys customer base.
  • The ability to speak more than one language is preferred.
