Assistant Store Manager - Job Specification
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the store when necessary, Taking responsibility for the running of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Assisting in the merchandising of the store.
- Assisting the Store Manager in managing stock levels.
- Implementing new ideas where necessary to drive sales in store.
- Dealing effectively with any customer enquires whether face to face or over the telephone.
- Maintaining awareness of the store's annual budget and monthly performance.
- Maximising every sales enquiry in order to make sure that the store hits its target.
- Taking responsibility for the set up within the store.
- Identifying and communicating any necessary development requirements or issues to the Store Manager and/or Head of Retail.
- Offering necessary training to staff members where necessary.
- Ensuring that the store is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Assisting and completing with administrative tasks.
- Helping colleagues where necessary.
- Maximising every sales enquiry
Requirements/Expected qualifications
You will have a vast experience of working within Fashion Retail. Assistant Managerial experience is preferred.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent Customer Service skills ( Any sales experience is also beneficial)
- An ability to motivate staff members.
- Admirable communication skills.
- Accountability for actions within the Store in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Working as part of a team.
